What is Two Knees?
Two Knees is an Indie Rocker’s foray into Alt Country, the musical equivalent of growing out your trendy haircut to start building furniture in your garage. With gritty vocals, witty lyrics and intricate instrumentation; Canmore-based artist Kieran Lehan's Two Knees brings a complex multi-layered sound that mirrors the rugged landscapes of the Rocky Mountains.
Whether Two Knees is Kieran playing solo or with a backing band “His guitar playing is absolutely phenomenal. It's like the guitar is a part of his body” (Rocky Mountain Outlook, 2024). Kieran is the winner of the 2024 Bow Valley Sound Off and is set to release a string of singles preceding an album release in 2026.

With an engaging live show that meanders from introspective acoustic songs, to off-the-rails rockabilly, Two Knees has been described as what it would sound like if Townes Van Zandt tried to write songs for Radiohead. There is something for everyone to like in Two Knees' music and something new to see each time they play.
