What is Two Knees?
Two Knees is a new project from Canmore-based indie folk artist Kieran Lehan. Two Knees came about as a play on words about a rare desmoid tumor that manifested on the outside of Kieran’s knee. Rather than minimize this experience, Two Knees became an exercise in embracing vulnerability and leaning into the parts of us that are not meant to be shown. This same attitude is directed into Two Knees' poignant approach to songwriting.

“Through Seasons” is the first album from Two Knees. It is a deeply personal and intimate exploration. Two Knees unveils a complex multi-layered sound that mirrors the rugged landscapes of the rocky mountains, with gritty vocals and raw instrumentation. Recorded over several years from various home studios, this record has become a cohesive collection of life’s sketches.

Kieran has played on stages big and small from Coast to Coast with different groups (including The Galacticats), and he is excited to share this latest project with the world.
